Lamrof was launched in 2021 by Daisuke Sakamoto, a designer from Sendai.

The brand name "Lamrof" uses a reverse spelling technique popular among African-American jazz musicians in the 1940s, reversing "Formal" to signify "wearing formal wear in an ideologically opposite way," paying homage to the history and culture of African Americans who have had a significant influence worldwide from the past to the present.

This padded jacket is made from a glossy crease nylon foil material.

It's based on the US ARMY fatigue jacket, but with a modified collarless design and piping on the collar and pockets.

The padding is not overstuffed, providing a balanced volume that can be worn both as an outer layer and as an inner layer.

It's lightweight and comfortable, making it a versatile piece for various styles.
